Arbonne Reviews
Arbonne
International hair care and skin care products are marketed as pure, safe, and
beneficial products. While this may be true of some of their
products - their products range from skin care and body care to weight
loss and nutrition - this is definitely NOT the case with their hair
care and facial cleansing
products, as well as their body lotions.
For truly pure, safe and
beneficial hair & skin care products, our recommendation is
Simply Organic. We reviewed several
Arbonne cleansers and lotions and found numerous harmful ingredients
in them. Here are a few examples...
Arbonne Review: Arbonne International Cleansing Gel
- 3rd ingredient listed is Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. For those
unfamiliar with
Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (or SLS), it is a common lathering agent
found in many
shampoos and body washes. It is also well-known in the scientific
community as a common skin irritant. It is rapidly absorbed and
retained in the eyes, brain, heart and liver, which may result in
harmful long-term effects. For more on
SLS check out 5
chemical to avoid.
Arbonne Review: Aromassentials Awaken Bath and Shower Gel - 2nd ingredient
listed is Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate. 12th ingredient is
Methylparaben.
Arbonne Review: Arbonne
International Facial Scrub -
last ingredients listed are Methylparaben and Propylparaben. Parabens are used as inhibitors of
microbial growth and to extend shelf life of products. Widely used
even though they are known to be toxic. Parabens have caused many
allergic reactions and skin rashes. Methylparaben combines benzoic
acid with the methyl group of chemicals. Highly toxic.
Arbonne Review: Arbonne
International Body Lotion - 12th ingredient is Propylparaben,
last ingredients are Triethanolamine (a chemical with carcinogenic
potential that may also irritate the skin and mucous membranes) and
Methylparaben.
Arbonne Review: Aromassentials Awaken Body Lotion -
last ingredients are
Propylparaben and Methylparaben.
Arbonne Review:
Mandarin Body whip - ingredients
include Triethanolamine, Propylparaben and Methylparaben.
It is our opinion that
the Arbonne products reviewed and other Arbonne cleansers and
lotions not be ranked in the category of "pure, safe and natural".
If you are looking
for truly pure, safe and natural hair and skin care products, we
suggest taking a closer look at Simply
Organic. Their products are excellent and competitively priced
with Arbonne (in most instances Simply
Organic products are less expensive with a higher quality).
